Stylized lightning bolt SFX designed from scratch.

Over the last few days, I've been delving deep into creating some electric discharge sound effects for my personal libraries. And there's something about this type of sound that really tickles my brain.

Maybe it's that sort of liquidy/zappy character; maybe the heavy transient information; maybe the hum. Or maybe it's all of them. I don't know. What I do know for sure is that this has always been my favorite kind of spell, and all the related sounds I've heard in both video games and films throughout my life have always excited and...well...electrified me.

All the sounds you hear have been recorded or synthesized by me. (I do not own any copyrights on this video, I only redesigned the sound.)
